5.5 gallons water
5 tablespoon sarsaparilla root bark
5 tablespoon sassafras root bark
5 tablespoon birch bark
15 star anise pods
5 vanilla bean, split and scraped
2 1/2 teaspoon crushed ginger
20 sprigs chocolate mint
7 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
2 1/2 cup molasses
Boil 30 minutes
